Danielle Leggett is Hope & Cope’s new Executive Director

Danielle Leggett, an expert in human resources management, has been appointed Executive Director of Hope & Cope and will succeed the retiring Suzanne O’Brien.

Ms. Leggett, who has served on the Board and the Executive of West Island Community Shares and other community initiatives, comes to Hope & Cope with 20 years’ experience, with specific expertise in talent management, employee and leadership coaching and motivation, organizational design, and strategic planning.

“I am excited to work collaboratively with the team of outstanding volunteers, staff and lay leaders,” Ms. Leggett says. “Together, we can take Hope & Cope to the next level.”

Ms. O’Brien will remain with Hope & Cope in an advisory capacity, while gradually moving into her new role as Chair of the Board. “We are thrilled to welcome Danielle,” she says. “She is the right person to lead us as we meet the challenges of providing top-notch supportive cancer care in an ever-shifting healthcare environment.”
