Dr. Haitham Baghlaf joins Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology

Dr. Haitham Baghlaf has joined the JGH Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, where he will pursue his interests in fetal echocardiograms, detailed early anatomy scans, and detailed fetal neurosonogram scans.

Dr. Baghlaf received his medical degree at King Abdulaziz University in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. This was followed by a move to Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, where he completed a postdoctoral research fellowship in maternal-fetal medicine and earned a Master’s degree in public health.

After residency training in obstetrics and gynecology at McGill University, Dr. Baghlaf undertook fellowship training in maternal-fetal medicine at the University of Toronto. He joins the JGH after having worked one year overseas.
