Two LDI researchers have been elected to the Canadian Academy of Health Sciences. Dr. Carmen Loiselle is Co-Director (Academic) of the Segal Cancer Centre. Dr. Cécile Rousseau’s career is dedicated to understanding the effects of organized violence on children and families.

Dr. David Rosenblatt, JGH Chief of Medical Genetics, has received the 2018 Founders’Award for Career Achievement from the Canadian College of Medical Geneticists.
Dr. Pierre Pluye named Family Medicine Researcher of the Year
Dr. Pierre Pluye, a Senior Investigator in the Centre for Clinical Epidemiology and Community Studies at the Lady Davis Institute, has been named 2017 Family Medicine Researcher of the Year by the College of Family Physicians of Canada.
Dr. Mark Wainberg, Director of the HIV/AIDS research section in the Lady Davis Institute, has accepted an invitation to serve on the Board of Scientific Counselors of the National Cancer Institute.
