Dr. Laurence Kirmayer, of the Institute of Community and Family Psychiatry, has received major awards from the American Family Therapy Academy and the American Psychiatric Association.
Two LDI researchers have been elected to the Canadian Academy of Health Sciences. Dr. Carmen Loiselle is Co-Director (Academic) of the Segal Cancer Centre. Dr. Cécile Rousseau’s career is dedicated to understanding the effects of organized violence on children and families.
Dr. Pierre Pluye, a Senior Investigator in the Centre for Clinical Epidemiology and Community Studies at the Lady Davis Institute, has been named 2017 Family Medicine Researcher of the Year by the College of Family Physicians of Canada.
