Audiologist Voula Tsagaroulis adjusts the goggles that help measure a visual reflex related to the patient’s ability to keep her balance. In addition to performing hearing tests, audiologists play a broader role in assessing various aspects of balance and dizziness—in this case, by having the patient’s eyes track the movement of the small white square on the screen.
