A heartfelt memento for grieving families

At the request of family members, staff of the JGH’s Medical-Surgical Intensive Care Unit can create a special memento—a heart-shaped pillow bearing the painted imprint of the hand of a loved one who has passed away while in the hospital.

Families and JGH staff remember the youngest who died too soon

A sapling and a bench were dedicated as a place of reflection and commemoration, as JGH staff joined famly members to memorialize the perinatal losses that occurred at the hospital over the past year.
